Hangzhou Metro is an urban rail transit service for Hangzhou and other regions in the city circle. Its first line, Hangzhou Metro line 1, was officially opened on November 24, 2012, making Hangzhou the fourth city in east China and the first city in Zhejiang province to have a Metro line. Hangzhou Metro line 1 is also the first Metro line in Zhejiang province.
